Biography

I was born in Burgas, and we all know that Burgas is the city in which a constellation of artists - painters, poets, musicians, artists were born. Perhaps the secret of the sea inspiration also lies at the heart of her desire to create, to create beauty and to want to share it with the people around her? And perhaps not only the sea is the main "culprit" of her need to draw, write poems and books, i.e. to create?
Since I was little I have felt attraction to brush and canvas and without any preparation, even without the knowledge of my parents I applied to art school. The result of course was positive - I was approved. Years of development follow, personal and creative development, which at times come to the fore, and at times give a way to the desire to build my own business, to complete several university degrees, to unfold my talents and dreams. To paraphrase the great Shapiro, we can say that the paintings are the field in which I seek and find the light and delicate in my own existence as an artist, and she perceived my hands rather as a bridge through which I pass the vision and message of my soul gropings. But the same motives, carried on the canvas and filling all of its corners, seem already as if out but not only from the soul of the artist.

Today I am PhD in Public Communications and Information Studies, something seemingly far away from art. But I do not think so. The art is rather my wharf in which I shelter when I am tired of scientific work. I am also an author of several books, one of which was published in English, over 150 poems and dozens of scientific articles published both in Bulgarian and in international scientific journals. I also have taught to students from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and from Bourgas Free University. The joy is the same for both meetings with students, and the with art. In my life both fields of activity - professional and creative - live the same life, develop in harmony and serve as proof that people of science are not always boring: sometimes they can surprise us with something new, something real, something colourful!
