Artwork Description
Originally just the background was painted to use as a teaching tool on creating distance in artwork. The dragons were added later as a teaching tool for history and culture. They are playing and flying in and around a lake. How did our imaginations create dragons? Where did they come from? Think about the ancient people stumbling upon some dinosaur bones. What did they think these huge fossils were? They probably thought some looked like the creatures in this painting. There were several creatures they may have come across and didn't understand what they were that led them to a picture of dragons. Think about the Chinese Culture where the dragon represents power, strength, and good luck. Dragons have much history and are used today in movies, comics, cartoons and books.

Her Art includes works done in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed mediums; such as, acrylic, melted crayon, and fabric paint. She also has a fascination with lighting and creates canvas lights.
