Artwork Description
"The Setting Sun in the Vale" is the forth painting in my series of landscape artworks. I used combination of powerful brush strokes and colour scheme to convey the calm, yet dramatic mood of this artpiece. The painting features a calm lake with boats in the vale surrounded by steep mountains captured during an upcoming nightfall. I aimed to create a lasting visual impression, as I do in all my acrylic paintings. The technique I use in my paintings is very similar to Bob Ross, William Alexander, Robert Warren or Kevin Hill... only adjusted to my own hand style and the slightly different needs of the acrylic media I use. I wish to honour their artistic mastery through my own art.
