Artwork Description
It is Los Angeles in the early 1800's and we see that a youth has made a theft of delicious fruit from a Persimmon Tree. The only witnesses are two lizards and a kitty at the window and they don't seem to mind his thievery. He runs off in a hurry to the plaza to share his fruity loot.

Biography
I have been drawing and illustrating since I was a rough-n-tumble Tom-boy growing up in horse country in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, CA.  The graphite, pencil drawing that you see is a self-portrait of how I saw myself as that sad,  rumpled, Tom-boy.  The love of the outdoors, climbing trees, hiking and horseback riding in the Santa Susana Mountains was my inspiration to draw and eventually take art and drawing classes.  I tried different mediums and enjoy working with graphite, color pencil, watercolor pencil, markers, ink and acrylic pens for highlighting.
It was when I left a long career in the medical profession to do something less stressful that a friend and my older sister encouraged me to present my art work to the public for viewing and for sale.  I have them to thank for finally showing my drawings on the internet.                                 Priscilla Thomas  -  PThomasArt
