Running a server with plugins requires an API like Bukkit, Spigot, or Paper. We recommend using sites like CurseForge or SpigotMC to find and install your own up-to-date plugins following the instructions of the developers. For every server, we recommend installing EssentialsX, WorldGuard, GriefPrevention, Vault, WorldEdit, Core Protect, and some kind of permissions handling plugins like bPermissions or LuckPerms.
