Abstract expressionist, acrylic on canvas, 280 cm x 125 cm ( in two canvases @ 140 cm x 125 cm, to see the process how i make this painting, please check my video on youtube : http://youtu.be/S7_QjtbkdJo ). It took half an hour for me to finish this painting in my performance of action painting, it was in September 2013. And always.. anything about life is become my inspiration for my artwork, this painting tells about how i feel about life, when the emotion of love, anger, happiness, sadness and hope and wildness mixed in one moment.

Biography

Hi, my real name is Dewi Puspitawati, but i am known as Deyish Dey, friends or collegas call me Dey. I am an artist and I am from Indonesia. I was born on February 23rd, 1974 in Karawang - West Java, Indonesia. I live in Bandung, West Java - Indonesia. Not just a painter, i am also a singer and a song writter. I started into this as a professional artist since 2009, and in that year i also had the fisrt painting exhebition in Galleri Kita Bandung with some other local artists in town. In 2010 i joined with some indonesian artist to exhibit one of my artwork for National AIDS FONDATION, also in 2010 and 2011, I participated in JAMBORE NATIONAL ART FESTIVAL in Jakarta and Surabaya.
September 2013, i had my first performance in Action Painting ( Sing and Paint ).
