This image is of Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez, they are my Daugther in law's Granparents. They live in Zacatecas, Mexico. In the painting you can see a"Clay Oven" they use it to bake cookies and goodies for the family and friends. Mr. Sanchez is wearing a "Hay Hat" to protect himself of the sun, while he is working in the fields planting beans and corn. He's 90 years old. Mrs. Sanchez is wearing a "Rebozo" she uses it for protection from cold and she wears it for Church also. They have been married for 75 years and have 6 children. Esta es una imagen del Sr. Juan Sanchez y la Sra. Juanita Sanchez, ellos son abuelitos de mi nuera. Viven en el estado de Zacatecas en Mexico, en la imagen pueden apreciar que en el fondo esta un Horno de Barro, tipico en el area, ellos utilizan para hornear galletas y/o panecillos para compartir con la familia y amigos. El Sr. Sanchez utliza un sombrero de paja para protegerse del sol durante sus actividades en el campo en donde a sus 90 anos, siembra frijol y maiz. La Sra. Sanchez esta utilizando un "rebozo" con el cual se protege del frio y ademas, lo utiliza para ir a la Iglesia todos los dias. Tienen 75 anos de casados y en su matrimonio han procreado 6 hijos.
