Another Dimension Art  Artist
The first digital artwork I created was born of frustration. I was having difficulty with fixing the contrast on a landscape photograph I was editing and ended up randomly adjusting settings until you could no longer recognize the waterfall it had been. The work itself had been a type of meditative experience for me, losing myself in color and shape.
I have no idea what will emerge on the screen when I sit down to create. Works of shape, movement and color, contrast and compromise, love and war, and worlds forgotten by time have appeared on my monitor. My work starts as digital photographs, images that may or may not be relevant to the final piece. From there I work in programs such as Photoshop CS6 and Microsoft Paint until the “done button” clicks in my head. My work creates itself; I’m just the door it uses to enter this world.
