I was born in Russia and have always loved art, especially landscapes. I began painting when my first daughter was born and it went from there. I eventually took part in several exhibitions in Moscow (Izmailovo, ART centre) and was once filmed for an art documentary for Russian TV.
I have continued painting since moving to the UK. I prefer small 'miniature' sizes and because of this paint mainly on primed paperboard, but I use canvas for bigger sizes.
I paint mainly landscapes from Russia. Each piece has been done individually with oils; you will be getting an original painting that nobody else would have, not a print.Recently I decided to try myself in new style and medium and to express my everlasting love for cats - and I started a series of Fantasy Cats paintings.
