I've been drawing works of fantasy, science fiction, horror and other genres for many years. There are a lot of varied ideas in my portfolio, but one thing they all have in common is that each one tells a story. A picture is never just a picture; it's a moment in time.
As a lifelong reader and tabletop and PC gamer, I appreciate the importance of stories as mechanisms that transport us to another place and inspire something within us. I've kept this in mind in my games and my work, developing concepts and lore, devising conventions and traits and fleshing out rich and compelling character backstories.
Whether it's an expansive saga that stretches across centuries and worlds or the struggles of a hero who rises to the occasion and saves the patch of dirt they call home, every story is important.
