Reflections in the Water I stare into the shimmering street, many things attract my roaming eyes, the slightest reflection of the faded sky. The slightest movement on my bike, Sends out the biggest wave, stretching past everything in its way. When I move faster in the water, I see the small refection of only me, As I watch the wheels begins to slaughter, Rippling the water and soon my reflection I can no longer see. The bike slow down slowly, And again I begin to see, my reflection ever so slightly, that’s the way the water decides to be. When you consider the radiance of reflections, That it does not withhold itself but pours its abundance without selection into Every nook and cranny not overhung or hidden As the waves increase itself above the asphalt, Freely taking my paint bushes without fear calmly reflections turns to praise.

A self taught artist Born and Raised in the USA Brooklyn NY. Who's been painting for many years, Artist Robin McConnell, whose work is featured in museums, galleries, organizations, and homes of many collectors, displays a deep sense of Spirituality. Robin found that he was inspired not by fame and fortune, but by the simple act of painting straight from the heart, the natural wonders and images that moved people. His style is intuitively guided, in a range from representational to the more realism. Besides working with watercolor, Robin also works in oils, acrylics, and colored pastels to create his mixed media images. Sometimes a related poem is written while creating a painting.
