James Maddison (27, Tottenham), the new best friend of "Captain" Son Heung-min (31, Tottenham), made a cute revelation.
This season, Tottenham started the season unbeaten with eight wins and two draws, jumping to the top of the table. However, they have since lost three in a row and are currently in fifth place with 8 points, 3 draws, and 3 losses.
Maddison joined Spurs from Leicester City in the summer transfer window. He signed a contract until 2028. The total transfer fee was reportedly £40 million ($66.3 million).
An attacking midfielder, Maddison brings creativity to Spurs' lackluster attack. In particular, he's been a "special assistant" to Son Heung-min, who has moved up front. After filling in for Harry Kane at the start of the season, Maddison has emerged as Son's new best friend.

It was a blast. Maddison suffered an ankle injury against Chelsea on March 7 and was substituted after 45 minutes. Immediately after the injury, the English Football Association reported that he would take around a month to recover, but his recovery is taking much longer than initially anticipated.
More recently, there have been skeptical reports that Maddison could not return in January and could be back in February at the earliest. Madison's absence has been a major factor in the Spurs' decline.
"It's really frustrating because we've been playing so well and we've had so many injuries. I scored from Sonny's pass, and I helped Sonny score. We'll be back soon," she said, hoping for a quick return.
