With all the awesomeness of Transformers like Autobots and Decepticon , of course, it makes us ask how these robots can appear, what are their origins. As geeks know, the Transformers are robotic beings who are part of a planet called Cybertron . Stories about life, battles, and various other things have often appeared in various stories.
Transformers, as the name implies, are able to transform into anything. For example cars, ships, or other things. In fact, they can also turn into animals. Talking about the origins of the Transformers, there are actually various versions depending on which medium the story follows. However, more or less there are several versions of the creation or origin of the Transformers. Anything?
Quintessons
In the storyline of the animated film Transformers which appeared in 1986, an evil alien named Quintessons was introduced. His figure just appeared in the third season of the Transformers series where he turned out to have an important role in the history of Cybertron. Rodimus Prime explains that he has had visions of the past and knows that in ancient times Cybertron once had a factory the size of a planet.
The factory creates two "types" of robots, namely Autobots and Decepticons. Autobots were created for "consumer goods" or goods that reach the hands of consumers. While the Decepticon was created for military purposes. However, one day, the robot created by Quintesson then got "life" which made them finally turn against. And in the end, the robots rule Cybertron.
In other versions of the series, such as Transformers vs GI Joe, there are different details about this Quintesson figure. In the series, it is told that Quintesson is a creature from the fifth dimension who then creates a living planet called "Daiakuron," which this planet later gave rise to Primus and the Transformers race.
Most recently, in the film Age of Extinction, it was explained that the Transformers in the universe were created by alien figures named "Creators." There is no clear information about who the "Creators" really are. However, what's interesting is that there is a mysterious robot figure who calls himself "Quintessa" which may have something to do with the creation of the Transformers.
Primus
In contrast to Quintessa's story, Simon Furman comes up with his own ideas about the creation of Transformers. As previously presented in Marvel UK comics, the Transformers in the universe were created by their god named Primus. The Primus figure itself was created by the universe to be a match for the evil figure named Unicron.
From here, the story then developed and there were various versions of the story that later appeared. After successfully saving Unicron, Primus then turned into a planet that we later know as Cybertron. And since then, he then created the Transformers race we know today. However, there are also other versions of the story.

To help defeat Unicron, Primus created the first 13 types which later they all became the forerunners of the creation of the Transformers. What's interesting is that in this version of the story, Primus doesn't actually die. His soul is still alive and is in the Matrix of Leadership, where he will choose who deserves to be the next leader of the Autobots.
AllSpark
In the early drafts of the Transformers film, which was released in 2007, the Autobots and Decepticons deliberately came to Earth in search of the Matrix of Leadership. However, for one particular reason, the storyline was finally changed. They appear on Earth in search of an ancient object originally named the "Energon Cube." Then, then the name was changed again to "AllSpark" which was adapted from the Beast Machines series.
