Back To Blogs List
Aston Villa players in the English Premier League have ditched the uniforms that made them look like they were coming out of a bath. They have found a new uniform maker.

Aston Villa players have been complaining that the team's uniforms are not breathable and do not wick away sweat. The female players in particular complained of discomfort and demanded continuous improvement.

The Sun reported on Tuesday that Aston Villa has agreed a new uniform deal with Adidas and will cut ties with the current supplier at the end of the season.

Players have been complaining about the uniforms since the start of the season after having no problems with them until last season. Instead of improving the ventilation of the new jerseys, the players claimed they were worse.

Initial reports in September last year, players complained that the uniforms were too restrictive. The men's team was also bothered by the uniforms that clung to their bodies too tightly. They complained that their uniforms were constantly sticking to their sweaty bodies and that they had to constantly remove them.

The female players were the worst offenders, as their curves were on full display. Even though they wore sports bras and other undergarments, the contours of their breasts were visible. As soon as the players entered the bench, they were busy looking for jumpsuits to wear over their uniforms. Even fans began to criticize the uniform companies as they publicly expressed their dissatisfaction.

Bayern Munich of the German Bundesliga was the first to voice their dissatisfaction. Players such as Kim Min-jae wore the same jerseys in their opening cup final, which was immediately improved. Aston Villa's jerseys, however, took a few months to find a solution. 안전토토사이트

The manufacturer of the famous British sports brand's products offered a new material for the jerseys at the end of last year. However, the club decided not to extend the contract with the company.

According to an article published by The Sun on Tuesday, the change of uniforms is due to the fact that one of the two owners of the club, Egyptian Nasser Sawiris, owns a 7% stake in Adidas. As such, Adidas has been selected to sponsor the jerseys starting next season. This is the first time Villa has signed with Adidas. Other big-name clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal wear Adidas jerseys.

Newcastle United also wore the same British company's jerseys as Aston Villa and will also wear Adidas jerseys from next season.

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton and Everton, where Hwang Hee-chan plays, have signed on to wear the same jersey manufacturer as Villa next season.
