Back To Blogs List
Most of you love bath bombs! When you place the product inside a tub full of water, the bath bomb fizzes to cover the entire water with good smelling soap to clean your body and rejuvenate your mind as well. It is true that celebrities like brian Keith Thompson and even tucker Pillsbury have shown interest in using bath bombs, which will help them to loosen their minds and soothe out their nerves after a tiring day at work.

Making one on your own:

Now, it is true that bath bombs are not the cheapest product you could get from the bath and body shops. These are pretty expensive, and most of you have to settle for the normal bars of soaps instead. However, there are some DIY tricks available in the market to help you make your own bath bomb. You can watch the YouTube tutorials as well for the right steps to take. Check-in with the options.
  • For making a bath bomb, you will need around 100gm of bicarbonate of soda.
  • You will need to add around 50g of citric acid and 25g cornflour to the mix.
  • If you want, you can add around 25g of Epsom salt, which is optional.
  • Then you have to add around ¼ teaspoon of essential oil. Here, you get the liberty to choose the kind of essential oil you want. The most common ones over here are chamomile, lavender, orange, and more.
  • If you want your bath bomb to have a color, then you can add a few drops of liquid food coloring to the mix as well. Do not try to use the color palette from glossier play for adding some shades, as that won’t work.
  • For decorating purposes, you can add orange peel, rose, or lavender petals. So, when the bomb starts to disintegrate, you can see the flower petals floating on top of the water. That gives a romantic feel to it.
Make sure to use these tactics and create a bath bomb at your home. It is one way to save money from your side.
