Minecraft Earth, an augmented reality version of the hugely popular crafting and survival game, is now available in early access on mobile devices. The primary gameplay of Minecraft Earth, which borrows heavily from Pokémon GO, sends players out into the environment to collect items and interact with an augmented reality world. While going about, you'll collect materials that you can use to construct items that other players can interact with.
While Minecraft Earth is a separate game, it does interface with the old version of the game in a few ways. The most obvious benefit is that Earth allows you to use character skins that you already own in other Minecraft editions. We'll show you how to change your avatar's appearance in Minecraft Earth and how to
make minecraft skins in this article.
In Minecraft Earth, how can you change your skin?
In Minecraft Earth, you must first enter your profile by clicking on your avatar's picture in the top left corner of the screen. This menu displays information about your level of experience, as well as how many blocks you've collected, how many you've put, how many mobs you've captured, and how long you've spent playing the current session.
You'll also see a "characters" button. Tap this icon to change your appearance. The character view mode will appear as a result of this action. You can change your skin to any of the saved custom models here. To make changes to one of them, press it and select "edit."
But what about skins you already have from previous Minecraft versions? They should also be present! You'll need to log into your Microsoft or Xbox Live account to play Minecraft Earth. You'll be requested to log in with one after installing the game. Simply enter the details associated with your Minecraft account, and any skins you've purchased from the marketplace should appear in the character creator. To see them, go to the dressing room by tapping on one of your skins and selecting "modify." A button with three Minecraft characters may be seen in the bottom right corner. Selecting this option will display the skin packs you've previously downloaded.
In Minecraft Earth, how can you customize your skin?
A blank silhouette and a small plus symbol indicate empty character slots. To begin creating a new character, tap on one of these and select "create." In the area at the bottom of the screen, you'll find a variety of accessories and apparel options. Minecoins, a premium currency in Minecraft Earth that can be purchased with real money, are required for the ones with a small coin icon in the corner.
A character creator is also available in Minecraft Earth. You can create a new avatar from scratch in the dressing room by tapping the paintbrush at the bottom of the screen followed by the little character silhouette in the bottom left corner. There are choices to modify the hair, eyes, lips, facial hair, limbs, legs, and size down the bottom of the screen. Most of these items can also be changed in color. You can use this method to create an avatar for your Minecraft Earth adventures.
