Noah, who started out as a popular TikTok star, plays high school quarterback Drayton Lahey, whose life collides with that of Dallas Bryan (Siena), a cheerleader hoping to leave her small town for a dance scholarship in California. Together they navigate the pressures of love, personal growth and their respective dreams.
"Growing up, I never thought I'd be in movies, much less be the star of a romantic comedy," he admitted. "It was a dream come true," he said. Reflecting on his first lead role, he said, "I knew less than anyone else in the room at first and I absorbed it like a sponge." "It was so much fun."
For Sienna, who is more familiar with the drama and horror genres, "Sidelined" was a completely different challenge.
