The 40 million euro (approximately 57.3 billion won) transfer fee was well worth it.
"Micky Van der Vaart and Cristian Romero are the best center back combination in the Premier League right now," legendary England defender Rio Ferdinand said on air, according to a report by British media outlet Talk Sport.
