The victim of the alleged illegal filming of soccer national team member Hwang Eui-jo (31) released the contents of a messenger conversation requesting the deletion of the video, refuting Hwang's claim that it was a consensual video. The victim's side also revealed that Hwang's brother-in-law, who was found to have first distributed the footage, said in court that "Hwang shared the footage with his acquaintances," raising the possibility of additional criminal damage.

"The victim had a brief relationship with the perpetrator many years ago," said Lee Eun-soo, the victim's lawyer, at a press conference at her law firm in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on March 23, adding, "If the victim had consented to the video and was happy to share it, why would she have asked for it to be deleted while she was in a relationship? It shows how vulnerable she was to the perpetrator who illegally filmed her and had the video."

After the video was leaked to SNS on the grounds that it was illegal, the lawyer revealed the victim's messenger messages to Hwang, including "I asked you to delete it, I told you I didn't want it, so why is it still there (on your phone)" and "You should admit that you did something illegal".

The lawyer claimed that Huang did not deny the illegal filming to the victim during the first call, but shortly after the lawyer's call, Huang sent a message saying, "I didn't do it illegally, but it was still careless of me to steal something that was in my possession," in order to leave evidence. 토토

The victim's lawyer also claimed that Mr. Hwang's brother-in-law, Mr. G, who was also detained, made a statement in court to the effect that Mr. Hwang had shared the illegally filmed video with his acquaintances. The victim's lawyer said that Mr. G, who was sent to custody the previous day (22nd) on suspicion of distributing Mr. Hwang's video, answered the court's question about why he tried to destroy the evidence during the pretrial interrogation (warrant substantive examination) on the 16th, saying, "To protect the perpetrator." When asked what that protection was, he replied that the perpetrator had illegally shared the video with his friends, according to the victim's lawyer.

"At that point, all the police had left at the request of the distributor's lawyer. If it is true that the perpetrator shared the illegal footage, it means that there are more fatal criminal damages to the victim," the lawyer said, urging the police to expand the investigation. In response, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, "The police were out of the room, so we heard the story through the lawyer." "Once we get the results from the forensics, we will review whether there was any sharing of the video."

The victim's lawyer also criticized the disclosure of information that could reveal the victim's identity as "secondary victimization," which is illegal. "The victim has extreme fear and anxiety about being identified, and the perpetrator knows this better than anyone. We warn the perpetrator not to repeat such criminal behavior in the future by clearly threatening and pressuring the victim."

Meanwhile, Hwang's legal representative, Law Firm Daehwan, issued a statement saying, "It was his brother and brother-in-law who initiated the prosecution when the video was first distributed.  Huang said he believes in his brother's innocence and asks that people refrain from making unreasonable assumptions.
