Steven Cameron Why Singapore Airlines Is The Best Airline In The World
Back To Blogs List

Singapore Airlines was founded in 1947, making it one of the oldest airlines in the world. In fact, Singapore Airlines flights was founded only two years after the end of World War II and two years before the founding of other world-renowned airlines like British Airways, Air France, KLM, and Lufthansa. While Singapore Airlines planes has expanded beyond its Southeast Asian roots to fly around the world, they still remain committed to customer service and safety as their top priorities – a philosophy that earned them top marks in our review of Singapore Airlines customer service.

The Singapore Airlines Story

Travelers today can choose from a myriad of airlines with different routes, perks and various cost structures. The same goes for luxury travel, where passengers are spoiled with choice when it comes to service providers. So how do you pick? You might go for an airline that’s been around for generations, or even centuries like British Airways or KLM. Or maybe one that has won awards for excellence in customer service over and over again? But what about airlines that offer all of these features – exceptional customer service, a storied history and awards to boot? You may have heard of one such airline – Singapore Airlines Reservations. It was ranked as Asia’s most prestigious company by Forbes magazine...twice.

Planes, Planes and More Planes

There’s a reason why Singapore Airlines planes has been called The world’s best airline. They have an impeccable record for making sure that their customers are not only satisfied, but completely at ease when flying. It starts with their planes. Singapore Airlines boasts a fleet of brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts (considered by many to be one of the most comfortable and luxurious ways to fly). These airliners are so advanced that they have bigger windows, more storage space and have achieved multiple awards for being considered among some of the safest and smoothest flying machines on earth. But it doesn’t stop there...

Timeless In-Flight Experience

Singapore Airlines website commitment to Singapore air customer service remains unparalleled, thanks to their 2-2-2 layout—an almost unheard of configuration where every passenger has a window and an aisle seat. Furthermore, every seat on Singapore's A380s has touch screens that offer passengers access to thousands of movies and television shows (some even boast larger than life entertainment options). In addition, each aircraft comes equipped with WiFi, so you can stay connected at all times. There's no denying it: Singapore knows how to take care of its customers. And you'll feel it when you board their planes.

Award-Winning Customer Service

From Singapore to Seattle, there's no mistaking which airline you're flying on. An avid traveler and frequent flier, I've enjoyed many flights on Singapore Airlines over the years, and now that I'm based in London as a business consultant, I've had opportunities to fly them regularly since 2013. Their services are consistently excellent—from their service crew to their lounge staff—and they've won multiple awards for it. If you find yourself planning a trip through Singapore flight sg anytime soon, whether it's for business or pleasure, book your ticket with Singapore Airlines. You'll be glad you did!

5 Reasons why I Fly with SQ

Singapore Airlines (SQ) has won numerous awards for being one of, if not, the best airline in the world and I fly with them regularly. So what's my favorite thing about Singapore? The SQ lounge. You might think that an airport lounge isn't a big deal but these days, it can make all the difference for your trip.
Here are five reasons why Singapore Changi's Terminal 3 First Class Lounge may be my favorite airport lounge ever

1. It's located on level three of Singapore Changi Airport's T3 so you don't have to walk far from your gate to get there;

2. It’s open 24 hours a day;

3. There’s free wifi everywhere inside;

4. There’s plenty of seating options including private rooms where you can work or watch TV;

5. There’s a buffet with hot food, sandwiches, fruit and other snacks available at any time during operating hours;

6. They also have a bar area where you can order drinks like wine or beer to enjoy while relaxing after Singapore flights! All in all, Singapore Airlines' lounge offers everything you could want in an airport lounge and more – which is why it may just be my favorite!

Frequent Flyer Program - KrisFlyer

The Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program is one of my favorite frequent flyer programs and it's especially rewarding for frequent travelers. Their awards are competitive, they have a wide selection of partner airlines, including many of my favorites like American and Cathay Pacific. That said, it has a couple quirks that can be frustrating (like low award availability) but overall it's one of my favorites. It's an ideal program if you like flying with Singapore airlines or if you want to earn more miles on short-haul flights with their partners. While many programs give you great value for longer flights, KrisFlyer does best on shorter flights as that gives you a higher chance of using your points!

The A380 Suites Class

What sets Singapore Airlines Flights apart from other airlines? Their first-class and business-class sections are outstanding, but if you’re looking for a truly out-of-this-world experience, then booking yourself into an A380 Suites Class seat is definitely worth considering. They’re completely private pods that recline back completely flat (there are no couches) and there’s even a small work table inside. In addition to all of that luxury, it comes with its own airport lounge access before boarding and an onboard service that gives you total control over your meals, drinks and movies on your flight.

The A350 XWB First & Business Class

The Airbus A350 XWB is one of my favorite airplanes and you'll find it flying all over Asia for Singapore Airlines official site. The A350-900 features a 2-2 configuration and it can be configured with either 12 First Class seats or 24 Business Class seats. While 24 Business Class seats are very crowded, they're still among my favorite business class products and are very well worth choosing if you prefer to sit back and relax rather than work on your laptop. I recently flew first class on an A350 XWB between Beijing (PEK) - Singapore airlines flights (SIN) and loved every moment of it!
