Mandarins are found in Asia. They mate for life and are symbolic of marital stability and happiness. When they find a partner, they will stick with that same partner for the rest of their lives. It is said that if they are ever separated, they will pine for each other and will soon die of loneliness.This strong love and fidelity has credited mandarin ducks with relationship healing properties, especially in Eastern cultures like China and Japan.
