You would be correct if this sounds a little more like "Suicide Squad" than "Star Trek," and that is the primary issue with "Section 31." In and of itself, Section 31 is a bit of a quirk in Gene Roddenberry's optimistic outlook on the future; it works best when applied sparingly to darker aspects of the "Trek" world that are curious about utopia. For this critic, Star Trek: Section 31 Lookmovie is without a doubt the worst Star Trek film ever created, but whether or not that is ultimately up to the die-hard fans.
