Dragoljub Trindić was born October 1st, 1969 in the village of Čučuga, near the town of Ub. He began painting at an early age, and studied in Belgrade, in the studio of Miodrag Mile Petrović, an academic painter from Ub. His home region provides inspiration for his work, mostly landscapes, especially winter scenes. Aside from these, he paints still natures, portraits and icons in oil. For a period of time, he was the president of the Painters Association of Tamnava, “Spektar.” He is a member of the Serbian Science Center in Belgrade, and the president of the Association of Young Researchers of Čučuga.
He participated in over 50 joint exhibits from 1995 to 2013 in Ub, Valjevo, Loznica, Ljig, Belgrade, Zrenjanin, Jagodina, Ćuprija, Lajkovac, Zlatibor.
He has had solo exhibitions in the following places: Požarevac (2000), Ub (2001), Ćuprija (2001), Zlatibor (2001, 2008), Sevojno (2001), Kosjerić (2001), Arilje (2001), Ljig (2005), Užice (2007)
Dragoljub is a frequent participant in temporary art colonies, as well as a philanthropist. His paintings are held by amateur art lovers, in Serbia and internationally.
