Artist
Edward Suthoff was born and raised in south
Mississippi on the gulf coast near the Pascagoula
River where he started duck hunting at an early
age and was inspired to paint and draw wildlife
and waterfowl. After high school Edward began
entering his state waterfowl stamp contest, and
won in 1993 and the age of 22. There were 40 entries
from 17 states entered in the contest. Since then he
has gone on to win numerous waterfowl and wildlife
awards from contest around the country.
Edward is avid outdoorsman and a member of several
wildlife and waterfowl associations, including Ducks
Unlimited, Delta Water-fowl and the Rocky Mountain Elk
Foundation and donates both his time and art for conservation
efforts. He now makes his home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming near
the Yellowstone and Teton National Parks where he can
continue his studies on North American big game. He is also
planning an exposition through the North West, including the Yukon
Territories across the Rocky Mountains into Banff, Glazier National
Park and then to Alaska to Denali National Park.
