A post graduate home maker, even as a child enjoyed free hand drawing and was encouraged to explore objects, shapes and form as they were. What started as a hobby soon cascaded into a passion for Gurgaon based Swapna Madhukar, a self-trained artist.
However, the zeal to learn more in life made her break norms, travel the world and discover the artist in her. Swapna's subjects vary widely from expressions, women, Krishna, Ganesha, Buddha and abstract forms. Just like her subjects, her styles and media also vary from painting to painting. Now based in Gurgaon, Swapna draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of India, She visualizes through realism and expresses through abstraction and her ethno-contemporary style is a reflection of her own joie de vivre.
