I have been interested in art from a very early age and excelled in art classes throughout grade school, high school, and college. My professional work experience did not involve much in the way of artistic creations, so the work I did durring that time was only a hobby for me. However, since retiring I have been able to devote my time to doing what I do and enjoy best. I do commissioned portraits in pencil, pastel, and oil. When someone first sees the portrait I have done for them, they usually smile and often are actually moved to tears. These reactions to my work is what brings me the greatest pleasure in what I do.
