What Is a Collection?

A collection helps you organize your artworks by theme, artwork type or a time period. If your account represents a gallery, you can also separate artworks belonging to different artists that you represent by artist name.

In short, think of collections as folders that help you organize your artworks within our site.

How Do I Add / Create a Collection?

When you're in the "My Account" section, click on "Collections" under "My Portfolio"

You'll be taken to your collections page where you can add new collections and edit old ones.

To add a new collection click on the Add New Collection collection tab.

The only required field is the collection Title. However, we strongly recommend that you also fill in the collection description and upload a collection Image.

The collection image can be any one of the artwork images that will belong to that collection or you can prepare a unique image that will be representative of the artworks belonging to that collection  ("Folder")

NOTE: When you upload a collection image, it'll be cropped from all sides into a square image.

A confirmation box will appear asking if you want to remove the collection only or both the collection and all the images associated with that collection.

If you delete the collection only, then all the images associated with that collection will not be removed and they'll be marked under "Unspecified" collection.
