Sarah Greenwood

Sarah Greenwood is a Brisbane based Fine Artist whose primary practice is figurative drawing.
Sarah is the Owner/ Manager at Grace Art Events where she organises and facilitates life drawing sessions for artists, trains life models, tutors drawing and organises arts exhibitions and events such as school and corporate workshops, private parties and festival workshops.
Sarah is known for her bold graphic style and strong line work in her drawing and print making work, as well as a strong graphic quality in her carving work- both in print blocks and ceramic carving/ handbuilding.
Sarah has a background in large scale architectural ceramic mosaics for both public and private commission and a keen interest in architecture, public art, feminism, and the ownership and use of public space.
Sarah has created many of the individual ceramic pieces for the new spa at Ashford Castle in Ireland, inground ceramics for the Quandamooka project at Wynnum foreshore in Redland Bay, the commemorative tiles for Cloudland Commemmorative Park in Brisbane, and numerous private commissions including ceramics, mosaics and portrait work.
Sarah also has a background working in disability and worked at Access Arts facilitating arts workshops from 2015-2107 for people living with disability and disadvantage. She is currently gaining further experience and knowledge in the area of online marketing so that she can provide more opportunities for individual outsider artists to market their work online.
